Interest in using Ning as a social network building tool has been growing considerably. In Sweden, at least five different library-oriented social networks build on the Ning platform with different scopes and target groups. Building a Ning network is easy, but keeping members interested is not as easy. In this presentation I will share some of my experience with creating and maintaining library oriented social networks built on the Ning platform.
Examples will be given from social networks targeting Local/Regional, National and European audiences.
